Most writers are known to be dreamers with their heads in the clouds, but there's nothing like a good dose of reality to knock a writer back down to earth. My book was released early -- almost a full month before my advertising campaign began. It came out September 10. The quarter in was pre-released in ended September 30. I just received my sales figures for those 20 days. It wasn't quite what I'd hoped for. I just enjoy writing, reading, editing, etc. I figure at some point I'll publish, even if it's just self-publishing. And beyond that I'll let nature take its course. I like the game, truth be told.
